This is the second week of my new Jessie Hilgenberg program and I think I am finally getting back in the swing of things. Training is the easy part. Eating is where all the magic happens. I am still tracking macros the same (don’t know what a macro is, see here), but now I’m watching sugar, too. Sounds easy, but it is not. Sugar is in dang near every food. Bread, yep. Dairy, full of it. Ice cream, out of the question (or in small doses). I don’t totally restrict anything. That is the key to bingeing and losing control. But less than 25 grams of sugar is hard. Especially for someone with a sweet tooth. Pray for me, cause I love all things dessert.
Back to the training part. The goal this time is to shed some fat so that the muscles I have worked so hard to build for the last 6 months can show through.
I killed it today with a little 90’s rap, mermaid pants, and a Wonder Woman shirt the kids picked out. Gym was empty, so much dancing was done in between sets. Don’t judge me, I consider it cardio!
Today was supposed to be plant all the plants day, but it rained. Instead we are having light saber fights that may or may not turn serious at some point. I hope everyone keeps all their eyes and pieces.
I’m also refinishing a piece of furniture for my entry, so I’ll show you that next time!
