Hi, I’m Shelly!

I love health and fitness!  I mean, full on, all consuming LOVE!  In addition to being a health and fitness coach, I am a mother of two (the biggest job), a Registered Nurse, and also hold a bachelor’s degree in Business.  I am passionate about books and the written language, often chewing through 2-3 books a week.  I love writing and enjoy using my skills to inspire, help, and teach other women.

About Shelly Johnson

I began my fitness journey when my father passed away from heart disease 5 years ago.  I decided right then that I would not fall to the same fate.  Daily workouts and slow steady diet modifications changed my life and my confidence level.  I was very intimidated by the gym, so I just did workouts at home while I waited for my oldest child to get off of the bus.  From there, I began a whole fitness journey that has changed my life!  When I was diagnosed with Celiac disease last year, I just kept moving forward, not letting this dramatic life change derail my goals or change my attitude.

With a goal of helping busy women improve and reach their fitness goals, I help and inspire ladies to push beyond their perceived limits of being “too busy” for fitness.  Being a working woman or mother does not mean you have to give up on being fit.  With some planning and a few mommy shortcuts, you can make time in your busy life for exercise and healthy eating.
